Associate, Quality
Job description:
CACTUS is a remote-first organization and we embrace an accelerate from anywhere culture. You may be required to travel to our Mumbai office based on business requirements or for company/team events. As an Associate, Quality, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all deliverables meet CACTUS’s established quality standards and client expectations. You will be responsible for reviewing outputs, identifying quality gaps, providing actionable feedback, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across teams. Please note that this role has rotational weekend working.
Job responsibilities:
Review and evaluate deliverables to ensure compliance with quality standards, guidelines, and client requirementsPerform detailed quality checks to identify errors, inconsistencies, deviations, and opportunities for improvementAssess outputs for accuracy, clarity, completeness, and adherence to defined instructions or style guidesProvide clear, structured, and constructive feedback to relevant stakeholders to improve quality outcomesDocument quality findings, observations, and trends using defined quality trackers and reporting toolsAnalyze recurring quality issues and support root‑cause analysis and corrective actionsParticipate in regular quality audits and reviews to assess adherence to processesCollaborate with production, operations, and training teams to drive continuous quality improvementSupport calibration exercises to ensure consistency in quality evaluation standardsEnsure confidentiality, data integrity, and compliance with internal policies at all timesMeet assigned timelines while maintaining accuracy and consistency across deliverables
Qualifications and prerequisites:
Bachelors degree in any field1–3 years of experience in quality assurance, review, editing, or audit‑based rolesStrong attention to detail and analytical mindsetGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work with guidelines, quality frameworks, and review toolsExposure to academic publishing or content quality roles is a plus
