Media Connect, the book division of Finn Partners, is seeking a passionate Associate Publicist to join us. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for storytelling. We offer the opportunity to work with authors of books across a wide variety of subject matters. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience, a familiarity with media, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously. Key Responsibilities:
Pitch traditional and online media, securing features, reviews, interviews, and event opportunities for books across various genres.
Craft compelling press materials, including press releases, pitch letters, and media kits.
Coordinate author events, and virtual appearances.
Provide detailed reports to clients.
Mail review copies to media contacts.
Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to think creatively and strategically under tight deadlines.
Familiarity with media outlets.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work on multiple campaigns simultaneously.
This position is a hybrid role based in our New York City office (in-office 2 days per week).
