Associate Operations Director

Overview: At Groups, the Associate Operations Director will assist in overseeing a team of professionals and drive operational excellence. In addition to this, this role is responsible for developing, assembling, and leading high level operational projects that drive efficiencies and quality services. You will also perpetuate the organization’s DNA by infusing a strong sense of mission, values, culture, and team into each organizational function, and by nurturing and developing our talent. This role reports to the Operations Director. Expansion: Facilitate high-quality expansion within market Oversee the launch of new offices by providing direct oversight, training local management and staff to be highly competent in their roles, and leading external outreach, as deemed necessary. Successfully assist the Operations Director and Operations Supervisors in new office openings. Assist the Operations Director in facilitating weekly communication about openings and office closures/relocations. Collaborate with all state leadership in service of achieving high quality growth and retention with integrity. Assist Operations Supervisors in launching new offices while facilitating regularly scheduled meetings to communicate office development strategy. Partner with Partnership Development Managers on evaluating new market needs. Management and Professional Development: Support the Operations Director and Operations Supervisors in cultivating a positive team environment where our mission and values come to life. Support Operational Supervisors when troubleshooting day-to-day operational challenges to maximize leadership efforts. Understand our policies and procedures. Ensure our policies and procedures are rigorously and consistently implemented, every time (working closely with operational leadership). Understand the daily operations. Partner with the Operations Supervisors alongside the Operations Director on focal points for improvement and efficiencies within operational workflows. Manage and ensure reporting and Action Lists are completed timely. Assist with quarterly walkthroughs, as needed, and monitor Health & Safety worksheets for timely completion. Provide operational and administrative leadership for up to 8-10 Operations Supervisor. Including, but not limited to: Professional development and growth not limited to mid-year and annual evaluations. Support needs related to employee relations and performance improvement. Ensure effective scheduling and disbursement of caseloads for operational staff and assist clinical leads, as needed. Assist Operations Supervisors in preparation of site audits with state licensing, accreditation, and managed care organizations. Support employees’ professional development through goal setting, coaching and feedback in partnership with the Operations Director. Deliver structured and effective onboarding for new Operations Supervisors that both conveys technical knowledge and imparts culture. Assist Operations Supervisors in recruiting “A players” into every role, based on a deep understanding of the target profile and our values/culture. Project Management: Assist with special projects by: Providing project management as requested to complete a variety of organizational tasks. Help execute new initiatives and evaluate/iterate/improve those initiatives in partnership with the Operations Director. Ability to work with and create cross functional teams and manage numerous projects at one time. Develop, assemble, and lead projects from the beginning to the end with a clear and complete hand off to the operations team. Act within the scope of authority granted, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and professional standards Travel up to 50% of the time (rarely overnight). Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated experience managing in a multi-site/state environment Strong software application skills including Microsoft Suite and/or G-Suite (Google) A strong collaborator: You know how to engage and interact with disparate parts of the organization to achieve common goals. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years of operational leadership experience in a behavioral health or human services field Access to reliable internet and telephone services, specifically 40M download and 10M upload package or higher as well as a strong WiFi signal from your remote work location. Must meet pre-employment requirements and maintain all applicable state and job-related guidelines for background screening. Depending on state-specific requirements, this may include fingerprinting, drug testing, health screening, and CPR/Basic First Aid
