Associate, IT Support
Flex is a growth-stage FinTech company based in NYC focused on enhancing the rent payment experience. They are seeking an Associate, IT Support to provide technical support, maintain IT infrastructure, and collaborate with various departments to improve operational efficiency. Responsibilities Provide technical support to end-users on hardware, software, and network-related issues via Slack, Zoom, phone or in-person Support the onboarding and offboarding of fellow Flexers in our systems as well as any required hardware Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment Monitor and help troubleshoot wireless networks (WiFi), and VPN connections Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, backups, and antivirus scans Collaborate and partner with other departments to increase their efficiencies and reduce their day to day friction Document IT processes, procedures, and system configurations Skills Minimum of 1-2 years in a similar IT support role, with an understanding of IT fundamentals Knowledge and practical experience with Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android Knowledge and practical experience with hardware. (i.e. laptops/mobile devices/switches) Knowledge of Google Admin for managing G Suite applications and settings Knowledge of MDM tools (Mobile Device Management) for Apple device administration Knowledge of MDM tools for managing windows devices Knowledge of Microsoft 365 for administering and supporting user requests and permissions Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Superior communication skills and people skills to effectively interact with a diverse user base Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred Experience working with Zapier Experience working with VPN Experience working with antivirus/malware detection software Experience with Agile project methodologies Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus Benefits Competitive medical, dental, and vision available from Day 1 Company equity 401(k) plan with company match (our company match kicks off at the beginning of 2026) Unlimited paid time off + 13 company paid holidays Parental leave Flex Cares Program Free Flex subscription Company Overview Flex enables people to pay rent bills on a schedule that fits their personal finances.
