Associate Credit Analyst
Callaway Golf Company is a premium golf equipment and apparel brand. The Associate Credit Analyst is responsible for opening new customer accounts and providing reporting and analysis to the Credit department, including assessing customer eligibility for credit terms and maintaining credit files.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough investigations into credit and financial information to assess customer eligibility for credit termsReview accuracy and verify completeness of required documentation from customers seeking credit termsGathers trade and financial data utilized for the extension of credit lines and annual reviewsProvides analysis and recommendations on trade and financial dataAnalyze customer credit information and provide recommendations on credit limits and risk exposure for existing customersAssist in the research and analysis of complex ownership issuesCommunicates with financial institutions, sales representatives, and customersHandles new account set up process within SAPMaintains credit files in the document management systemMaintains and processes customer master file changesReview and process customer master file changes, ensuring compliance with company policiesManages E-document processes and reportingCreate and update various reports as requested by managementMaintain customer principal master spreadsheetFollows Global and Local Credit policies and maintains controls documented through the Sarbanes-Oxley processAssist with sales tax compliance and participate in corporate projects and process improvement initiativesSupport corporate projects and initiativesAssists with gathering financial dataProvide analysis and insight on credit information based upon risk verses the impact to salesCreate and provide insight on various credit metrics for different roles within the credit departmentFacilitate projects to improve processes and meet business needsManage the collection agency placement and reportingAssist in developing Company credit risk policies and proceduresReport on large and/or long-term payment plansSkillsAbility to understand and analyze financial statementsBasic understanding of financial reportingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and ability to multi-task wellDetail orientedAbility to work independently and as a team playerAbility to work well with all levels of the organization in fast paced, dynamic environmentAbility to navigate through ambiguity, collaborate successfully with others on a cross-functional basis, coordinate multiple project assignments simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment, accepting ownership and accountability of the process and deliver on commitmentsProficiency in Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPointKnowledge of SAP a plusProfessionalism and high level of discretion are requiredA bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree preferredMinimum 1-year related experienceBasic working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Company OverviewCallaway Golf is the leading manufacturer of premium golf clubs, balls, performance gear and accessories worldwide.
