Associate Business Intelligence (BI) Developer
Ibotta is a leading performance marketing platform seeking an Associate Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join their Client Data and Measurement team. The role involves empowering data-driven decisions through reporting, analysis, and collaboration with key stakeholders to enhance business understanding and measurement.ResponsibilitiesProvide support across Client teams through reporting, monitoring, tracking, and analyzing business performance and resultsAnalyze requirements and architect appropriate solutions, with detailed design documentsLeverage reporting best practices to automate reports and find creative solutions to maximize reporting outputCreate and refine visual representation and communication of complex dataDevelop a logical, structured approach to conduct ad-hoc analyses and work backwards from hypothesesExtract, wrangle, and automate large data transfers (on the order of trillions of rows) to democratize data and empower data-driven decision making across the companyManage, monitor, and provide recommendations on the quality of various data streamsDesign and create aggregate and summary tables for reporting efficiency purposesAnalyze and deliver data to provide actionable insights about the effectiveness of the business above and beyond standard analysisEmbrace and uphold Ibottaβs Core Values: Integrity, Boldness, Ownership, Teamwork, Transparency & A good idea can come from anywhereSkills1+ years of experience in Analytics within an agile organization (or equivalent academic work) as well as familiarity with data warehousing and business intelligence platformsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics or a related field required1-3+ years of practical work and/or academic experience in SQLProven ability to develop, maintain, automate, visualize, and communicate reporting for management and internal clientsConsistent ability to work collaboratively throughout the organization to drive towards common goalsAbility to clearly and professionally communicate data, processes, and results to senior leadershipExcellent oral and written communication skillsDetailed-Oriented team player with an ownership mindsetExperience with Looker Business Intelligence platformExperience in AWS EcoSystemKnowledge of Airflow, DataBricks, Git, PythonExperience with event-driven architectureBenefitsFlexible time offBenefits package (including medical, dental, vision)Employee Stock Purchase Program401k matchPaid parkingSnacksOccasional mealsCompany OverviewIbotta is a web and mobile application.
