Associate Attorney
Firm Advice is a boutique litigation firm seeking a litigation attorney for their Rockville, MD office. The role offers opportunities in bankruptcy, litigation, and transactional mortgage default work, requiring the attorney to handle federal and state caseloads and perform legal research and analysis. Responsibilities Analyze legal issues and review strategies for assigned matters with supervisor Handle federal and state caseload in accordance with firm and client direction and court timeline requirements Ensure timely updates to client systems and firm’s case management system Research and analyze precedent and draft client documents and court filings Review and analyze real estate law and real estate title cases and ability to handle substantive real estate and title litigation matters Perform quality control review of documents and staff deliverables Skills JD and member in good standing of the MD bar or ability to waive in; DC bar membership a plus 1 to 5+ years' experience (litigation experience during law school counts) representing banks or mortgage servicers, or general real estate or litigation experience a plus, but recently licensed attorneys with relevant background are encouraged to apply Organized and detail-oriented, has great oral and written communication skills, can multitask, and works well individually and as a team member Benefits Medical Dental Prescription Free parking 401K plan Company Overview Firm Advice provides legal advice and consulting to law firms and corporations on legal staffing needs.
