Assistant Vice President, Political Risk & Structured Credit

Company:MarshDescription:We are seeking a talented individual to join our Political Risk & Structured Credit team at Marsh. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.You will get to be part of Marsh’s Political Risk & Structured Credit (PRSC) team in Asia taking a key role in the management, servicing and growth of existing client accounts.We will count on you to:Management and servicing of key PRSC accounts and be responsible for key deliverables and revenue.Assist the team in the development of new PRSC prospects / opportunities, either independently or with support from team heads, and contribute to an annual new business target associated with this.Prepare market submissions on new transactions, consolidate feedback for clients, negotiate policy wording and complete policy placement process.Maintain strong relationships with Specialties clients, colleagues, and insurance/reinsurance companies to efficiently communicate client requests.Monitor accounts (payments, collections, etc.) anticipating and preventing problems.What you need to have:Bachelor’s degree in Business / Banking & Finance / Accounting (or similar) preferred.4 to 6 years of work experience.Having knowledge of principles of insurance would be beneficial.Possess broad technical knowledge across commodity finance, trade finance, asset backed finance and project finance transactions.
