Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily

The Opportunity
This is a new role added to support a growing project pipeline. You'll work directly alongside senior PMs on ground-up multifamily projects, gaining full-cycle exposure from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate is a few years into their career, has multifamily GC experience, and is ready to take the next step.
What You'll Do
• Support project managers across all phases of ground-up multifamily construction
• Assist with subcontractor coordination, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Help manage project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking
• Attend and contribute to OAC meetings and site visits
• Build relationships with owners, architects, and trade partners
What We're Looking For
• 2+ years of GC-side construction experience
• Multifamily project experience required (100+ units preferred)
• Strong communicator — written and verbal
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
• Eager to grow into a full PM role
• Chicago-based; open to relocation for the right candidate
