Assistant Project Manager & CAD Drafter
About the position
The Assistant Project Manager & CAD Drafter will support the successful delivery of projects through meticulous planning, communication, and documentation. This role requires a highly organized individual capable of multitasking and managing various project components simultaneously, with a focus on technical skills and effective communication in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Attend virtual project meetings, take detailed minutes, and ensure all action items are recorded and tracked.

ā¢ Create and update project drawings to reflect the current status and changes.

ā¢ Maintain and update project punch lists through continuous communication with field staff, ensuring all tasks are completed.
,
ā¢ Regularly update and manage project schedules to keep the project on track.
,
ā¢ Serve as a liaison between subcontractors, general contractors, and internal teams to ensure clear and consistent communication.
,
ā¢ Organize and manage the logistics of project components, ensuring timely delivery and proper resource allocation.
,
ā¢ Create and maintain configuration documents, track project completion percentages, and compile comprehensive closeout documents.
,
ā¢ Provide assistance with software configuration as needed to support project requirements.
Requirements
ā¢ Must be proficient in CAD.
,
ā¢ Must be proficient in Microsoft Project.
,
ā¢ Bachelor's or Master's degree required.
,
ā¢ CSPM, PSP, or PMP certifications a plus.
,
ā¢ Minimum 1 year of CCTV, access control, or IT experience.
,
ā¢ Must be able to multitask and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
,
ā¢ Ability to read/interpret various types of drawings and blueprints.
,
ā¢ Proficiency in network architecture and protocols.
Nice-to-haves
ā¢ CSPM, PSP, or PMP certifications a plus.
