Assistant Project Manager (2nd/3rd Shift)
Snap Install, Inc. is seeking an ambitious Assistant Project Manager to join their innovative project management team. The role involves overseeing jobs, generating quotes, scheduling and coordinating with technicians, and managing multi-site projects to ensure successful outcomes.ResponsibilitiesDevelop an understanding of relevant client solutions, products, technologies, and common challenges in order to oversee jobs and serve as an initial escalation pointGenerate quotes and scopes of work for clientsQuickly and fluently build orders in service management system, with minimal errors. Consistently update system with clear, effective notesSchedule and coordinate jobs with technicians, effectively addressing scope and price. Gather all necessary logistical and technical information, and prepare technicians for on-site workMonitor job progress, serving as an escalation point and resolving minor barriers. Confirm, review, and approve deliverables. Coordinate with manager on larger escalationsClose completed jobs, including billing and documentation, and share necessary information back to the clientParticipate in the preparation and organization of project data, statuses, dashboards, and reporting for multi-site projects/rolloutsManage the day to day work of multi-site projects/rolloutsStrategically determine best path to project success, considering timing, technician skill set, project risks, and marginAnticipate potential problems and work with manager to develop a course of action to mitigateManage and prioritize workload and daily scheduleDemonstrate an ability to adapt to varying client, project, technology, technician, and site needs, and drive projects to a successful outcomeWork with technicians and clients to negotiate pricing based on scope, level of effort, timeliness, and other variablesUnderstand and adhere to standard operating proceduresDevelop relationships with technicians, clients, and co-workers that promote effectiveness and mutual success. Advocate and influence for best outcomesServe as primary contact and SME for a few client relationships. Recognize opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and coordinate with Manager.
