ECOVIS JRB Chartered Accountants is seeking a senior, qualified professional to join our advisory practice as Assistant Manager – Accounting & VAT . This role is strictly for candidates with deep consulting experience in accounting and VAT (not audit). Minimum Experience Requirements (Non-Negotiable): 10+ years of total professional experience Minimum 5 years in the UAE in Consulting Firm At least 5 years in a consulting / advisory firm (Accounting & VAT services) Experience must be in accounting + VAT compliance — audit-only profiles will not be considered Ideal Candidate Profile: Fully / Semi Qualified: CA / ACCA / CPA (or equivalent) Strong hands-on experience in: End-to-end accounting & MIS VAT return preparation, reviews, and compliance Client advisory and implementation support Ability to independently manage multiple clients Exposure to Corporate Tax is an advantage Strong client-facing and team-handling capability Suitable to support outsourced / fractional CFO engagements Role Responsibilities: Lead accounting and VAT engagements for a portfolio of clients Review accounting deliverables, VAT workings, and compliance files Support partners on CFO-level reviews (cash flow, MIS, controls) Coordinate with CT and VAT teams on integrated advisory assignments Mentor mid-level accounting and VAT team members Location: Dubai, UAE Type: Full-time | On-site Firm: ECOVIS JRB – UAE member of the 13th largest global consulting network If you meet the experience criteria above and are looking for a senior advisory role beyond routine compliance, we’d like to hear from you. 📩 Apply: [email protected] (Please apply only if the experience requirements are met.)
