Assembly Manufacturing Technician Nights
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Purpose: Responsible to support the manufacturing process by completing preventative and unscheduled maintenance on all assembly production equipment
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
ā¢ Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program
ā¢ Support manufacturing process in production department by responding to unscheduled breakdowns on production equipment
ā¢ Accurate completion of PM documents and assigned work orders
ā¢ Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components
ā¢ Assembly of new production fixtures and components
ā¢ Support continuous improvement practices by documenting improvements
ā¢ Monitor torque calibration program
ā¢ Verification of equipment to ensure all safety features are in working order
ā¢ Maintain overall orderliness and organization of the tool crib
ā¢ Support and demonstrate 5 "s" principles
ā¢ Communicate with co-workers and supervisor to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are being completed
ā¢ Participate in routine line set-ups
ā¢ Demonstrate commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management system and Objectives
ā¢ Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees
ā¢ Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
ā¢ High school diploma or equivalent
ā¢ 1-2 years experience in assembly/production maintenance
ā¢ Experience in hydraulics, pnuematics, & electronics preferred
ā¢ Basic computer skills
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
ā¢ Current forklift certification
ā¢ Data entry of work orders / PM sheets
ā¢ Ability to focus on assigned tasks and complete in a timely manner
Training:
ā¢ Reference OJT
Physical Demands:
ā¢ Ability to walk or stand 90% of shift
ā¢ Ability to lift 50 lbs
ā¢ Ability to twist, bend, stoop and climb ladders/stairs
