Job Title: Account Receivable Recovery Specialist Company: Adelfi Medical Billing Solutions Position Type: Full-time Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Receivable Recovery Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Account Receivable Recovery Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely collection of outstanding insurance balances. You will assist the company manage insurance claims and payments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical billing practices and insurance policies. Qualifications: All potential candidates must have strong communication, organizational and analytical skills. Working knowledge and experience in analyzing medical claims. Strong knowledge of EMR software, medical billing applications, CPT codes, ICD-10, and insurance web portals and OON experience. Experience in writing and submitting claim appeals with insurance companies including OON appeals. Responsibilities: • Manage claim submission process endtoend through submission, response, and final payment • Understand and communicate insurance billing & patient responsibility (in/out of network, deductibles, copays, co-insurance, out of pocket max) internally and to clients • Denial Management • Prepare and submit claim appeals with insurance companies • Followup with payers to ensure timely resolution of all outstanding claims, via phone, emails, fax, or websites • Perform special projects and other duties as needed.
