Aquarium & Aviary Service Representative

This particular role will primarily be servicing of aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes and assisted livings facilities. This is an entry level position that requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. Lifting, bending, and some physical demands are involved in the position. This is a part-time remote position. Work is typically done during business hours of 8am to 7pm but is flexible. Hours will vary from month to month but will average around 15-25 hours per week. Hours will fluctuate based on the number of services due per week. *Travel in a 150 mile radius of Davenport, IA will be required. Most are within around an hour of Davenport but there are a few further. Kahoka being the furthest at 135 miles away. (Mileage reimbursement is paid while driving. Storing 50# bags of bedding and seed along with 4-5 27 gallon totes of supplies will be required for the job. Ability to continually adjust priorities to match the business need. Strong work ethic along with being on time and maintaining good attendance. Ability to successfully communicate and contribute in a team oriented environment. Must have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English. Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude. Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job responsibilities. Able to travel in your service area radius Heavy lifting and maneuvering is required. Flexibility is a must! High School education is preferred. Driver’s License required Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 15-25 hours per week. Hours will fluctuate slightly based on the number of services due per week.
