Job Title: Application Architect III (ServiceNow Architect) Location: Remote Duration: 6 Months Job Description We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect / Application Architect III to design, develop, and deploy complex, mission-critical, high-volume applications. The ideal candidate will have strong architectural vision, deep hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to optimize and modernize enterprise application environments. Key Responsibilities • Architect, design, and deploy high-volume, multi-tiered, distributed mission-critical applications. • Develop new enterprise applications and enhance/refactor existing applications. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architectural standards and best practices. • Conduct performance tuning, particularly JVM tuning, to ensure optimal application performance. • Participate in system design discussions, solution reviews, and technical decision-making. • Work with relational databases, create complex SQL queries, and perform data modeling. • Ensure the performance, scalability, reliability, and security of application solutions. • Provide architectural oversight and guidance across development teams. Required Skills & Experience • 6+ years of experience in application architecture, design, and development. • Proven experience architecting and deploying distributed, mission-critical enterprise applications. • Strong hands-on expertise with Java programming. • Solid experience with JVM performance tuning. • Strong software and systems design skills. • Relational database experience, including: • SQL development • Data modeling • Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and refactor complex codebases. • Experience with high-availability and scalable architectures.
