Job Title: Apigee Platform Architect Location: Remote Duration: 12+ months Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apigee Platform Architect to lead the design, deployment, and governance of Apigee OPDK infrastructure in AWS. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in API management, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise-grade deployment topologies. You will be responsible for high-level design, deployment architecture diagrams, and conducting deployment reviews to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient API platforms. Key Responsibilities : Design and document high-level architecture for Apigee OPDK deployments in AWS. Create and maintain deployment architecture diagrams and infrastructure blueprints. Lead and conduct deployment reviews, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices. Architect and implement Apigee organizations, environments, and virtual hosts. Define and manage multi-region, high-availability, and disaster recovery topologies for Apigee OPDK. Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud Engineering teams to automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Lead migration strategies from Apigee SaaS to OPDK or hybrid models. Provide expert guidance on API security, traffic management, analytics, and developer portal integration. Troubleshoot and optimize Apigee runtime performance and scalability. Mentor and guide development teams on API lifecycle best practices. Required Skills and Qualifications : Proven experience with Apigee OPDK deployment and administration in AWS. Strong understanding of API Gateway concepts, OAuth2, JWT, traffic routing, and rate limiting. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
