Animator – Internal Communications (Part-Time, Remote) Contract | 20–30 hrs/week | Fully Remote | East Coast preferred We’re supporting a client with ongoing internal communications, training, and presentation content and are looking for a skilled Animator to support high-quality animated work used across internal platforms. This is a true animation role. The work requires strong fundamentals, polish, and an understanding of how animation supports clarity and communication at scale. This role is well-suited for an experienced animator who wants flexible, part-time work alongside a full-time role or other client work. What You’ll Be Doing • Animate explainer content, sequences, and visual narratives • Create character and non-character animation as needed • Animate diagrams, systems, workflows, and abstract concepts • Support internal presentations, training modules, and video content • Collaborate with writers, designers, and stakeholders on storyboards • Own animation from concept through final delivery What We’re Looking For • 4+ years of professional animation experience • Strong fundamentals in timing, spacing, weight, and movement • Proven experience producing finished, high-quality animated work • Comfortable animating abstract ideas, systems, and narratives • Able to take loose briefs and translate them into strong visual solutions • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently • Visual style is polished, intentional, and professional • Comparable to animation used in SaaS platforms, enterprise software, healthcare, or technical environments • Not social-first. Not template-driven. Not gimmicky. Tools & Skills • After Effects (required) • Illustrator and Photoshop (required) • Experience with character rigs and animation systems • Cinema 4D, Blender, or other 3D tools a strong plus • Storyboarding experience preferred Schedule & Logistics • 20–30 hours per week • Fully remote • East Coast time zone preferred for collaboration • Flexible schedule (evenings/weekends acceptable) • Consistent availability and dependable delivery required Not a Fit If You Are: • Primarily a social video editor • Focused only on short-form marketing ads • Looking for purely experimental or entertainment-driven animation • Expecting heavy art direction on every project Apply tot his job
