About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Android Developer to join our innovative R&D and product development team at SAN R&D Business Solutions. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications that deliver exceptional user experiences and align with our mission of building smarter, more sustainable technology solutions. This temporary volunteer role allows you to enhance your mobile development skills while working alongside industry professionals. Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Android applications that interact with IoT devices and sensors
Implement data gathering from Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and/or embedded hardware-based sensors
Work with APIs, MQTT/BLE/HTTP protocols to retrieve, stream, or sync real-time data
Store and process collected data efficiently (locally or via cloud)
Collaborate with firmware, backend, and hardware teams to optimize performance
Write clean, maintainable code with proper documentation and testing
Ensure cross-device compatibility and responsive performance
Troubleshoot and debug device communication and data sync issues
Qualifications:

3+ years of Android development experience (Java and/or Kotlin)
Hands-on experience integrating IoT devices or sensor-based data streams
Familiarity with Bluetooth (BLE), NFC, Wi-Fi Direct, or other connectivity standards
Experience with background services, WorkManager, and data caching techniques
Proficient in RESTful APIs, WebSockets, or MQTT for real-time communication
Working knowledge of SQLite/Room DB or cloud sync (e.g., Firebase, AWS IoT)
Strong debugging, version control (Git), and problem-solving skills
