The Analyst in Internal Audit will support the CAS Americas team in providing independent assurance services to improve operations and evaluate governance, control, and risk management processes.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the audit strategy memorandum, the ING Americas risk assessment, audit universe and audit planAble to acquire a (detailed) understanding of the audit objectParticipate in the execution of audit assignments, focusing on the Financial Markets (trading) side of the businessAssist in determining the audit objective and scope; and documents the audit work, evidence obtained and the audit conclusions in the audit fileAssist in the audit close-out meeting and prepare draft audit findings which include identified control deficiencies and recommendationsStay up to date with developments internally and externally in the fields of commercial banking and internal auditSkillsA Bachelor degree with at least one certification from CIA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, FRM (or comparable) or a willingness to work for one on hiring1+ years experience is preferably obtained in auditing financial markets (strong plus), lending, risk, compliance or operations in financial institutions or in public practice accounting (Big 4 or comparable)Strong analytical skillsProfessionally sceptic and curious attitudeStrong communication skills (verbally and in writing)Client oriented, team player and creative: strives for innovation, improvement, and efficiency, and be able to perform under pressureCandidate should have a ‘make it happen mentality', a clear interest in the financial services industry and a willingness to continuously learn and improveA Master or postgraduate degree and a GPA over 3.6 is a clear plusBenefitsComprehensive health benefitsGenerous 401k savings planCompetitive PTOBroad array of benefits including adoption, surrogacy, and fertility servicesStudent debt assistanceSubsidies for expenses associated with commuting and fitnessCompany OverviewWe’re one of ING's global competence centres.
