Check out our website to learn more: https://jdaworldwide.com/Key Responsibilities: This position is responsible for research pertaining to current client news and events, writing press releases and media advisories, and assisting with client accounts as needed. This position requires an exceptional work ethic, as well as professional writing and research abilities.Research, write, edit, and fact-check press releases, statements, and editorialsDevelop and curate customized media contact lists, tailored for each client’s location audience and campaignsIdentify opportunities in the news cycleCollaborate and brainstorm alongside a team to assign tasks to ensure deadlines and deliverables are metMaster and utilize company PR tools (such as Cision and Meltwater)Create analysis for client/media interactions and circulationResearch, establish, and develop media relationshipsPresent superb written material by requested deadlinesIncrease media interactions with client press releases measured by company analyticsOther activities as assigned by managerThe responsibilities are many, various, and not limited to those listed above.
Requirements
Currently working towards BSc/BA or recent graduate in Public Relations, Communications, Business, or a related fieldBackground in researching, writing and editing publicationsInterest in different industries, particularly in Faith, Business, and GovernmentExcellent writing skills in multiple formatsPresentation skillsProject and Time managementProblem-solving aptitudeResults drivenKnowledge of AP StyleBenefitsCompensation: Interns will be compensated $2,500 for the summerLocation: JDA Worldwide, Nashville, TNDuration: 10 weeks
