Agency Loan Operations Analyst

The Agency Loan Operations Analyst will be responsible for servicing a Syndicated Loan Portfolio, ensuring all loan-related activities are processed accurately and in accordance with credit agreements while minimizing operational risks.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for processing all loan related activities including drawdowns, rollovers, conversions, interest and feesEnsure all lending transactions are processed timely, correctly and in accordance with the credit agreement, bank policies and procedures, minimizing operational risks and lossesMaintain expert knowledge of all relevant portfolios and deal-related documentationExhibit an elevated level of professionalism and a client-focused approach that is responsive, proactive, accountable, and reliable, adjusting communication appropriately for various levels and partiesUse judgement, interpretation, and problem-solving skills to understand loan information to successfully resolve exceptionsProcess outgoing loan related payments for FED/CHIP/SWIFT paymentUpdate customer / agent bank contact list and special handling list periodicallyInvestigate, reconcile and resolve outstanding items in Cash Accounts, Past Dues, Suspense and Break-Funding chargesSecure approvals from Middle Office, Front Office, Client when necessaryAbility to monitor multiple work queues at onceWork on Adhoc inquiries that are received from business lines, clients, agents, etcSkills0-2 years of experience in Syndicated lendingAbility to analyze and streamline operational processes enhancing productivity and efficiencyKnowledge of Bank Loan related systems used to manage the Syndicated lending business: ACBS, Loan IQ, AFS, Clearpar, Syndtrak, Intralinks, Debt Domain preferredAbility to quickly learn new concepts and independently research and resolve issuesAbility to collaborate with internal groups and external clientsMust have strong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrate strong analytical skills, strong working knowledge of fundamental financial/accounting/business concepts, and a proactive interest in learning and mastering new conceptsAbility to multi-task, operate and excel in a high pressure, deadline-driven environmentExcellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailKnowledge of Bank Loan related systems used to manage the Syndicated lending business: ACBS, Loan IQ, AFS, Clearpar, Syndtrak, Intralinks, Debt DomainBenefitsComprehensive health and wellness benefitsRetirement plansEducational assistance and training programsIncome replacement for qualified employees with disabilitiesPaid maternity and parental bonding leavePaid vacationSick daysHolidaysCompany OverviewMUFG (Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group) is one of the world's leading financial groups.
