Job Title: Programmer AdvancedDuration: 12 MonthsLocation: 100% RemoteScope of the ProjectThis project involves making federally mandated changes to the Medicaid System. The selected candidate will perform configuration management technician duties and support the migration tool (Serena ChangeMan) for the IT services team. The role requires familiarity with ChangeMan internal skeletons (skels) and panels. Duties will also include identifying testing needs and assisting with the implementation of new releases of the ChangeMan software.Daily Duties / ResponsibilitiesWrite and maintain any required customizations for the change management tool (Serena ChangeMan) including creating REXX and/or XML reports, and customizing skeletons and panels as needed.Evaluate, test, and install upgrades/new releases for the ChangeMan software.Update and maintain ChangeMan documentation as it relates to change management requirements.Train systems team members on the new release of ChangeMan.Provide consulting on ChangeMan software for end-users.Act as the primary point of contact for questions or issues related to ChangeMan.Migrate software into production environments, ensuring all approvals are in place.Verify and confirm successful software migrations.Communicate effectively in both written and spoken communication.Collaborate with internal staff and other contracted team members.Required Skills (Ranked by Importance)2+ years of experience as a ChangeMan Administrator.5+ years combined experience with Mainframe, MVS COBOL, JCL, and IDMS.Familiarity with ChangeMan internal skeletons and panels.Knowledge of configuration management principles, procedures, and software testing.Strong soft skills: effective communication, adaptability, flexibility, self-motivation, problem solving, analytical thinking, time management, ability to work under pressure.Preferred Skills (Ranked by Importance)CA-ADS experience.Experience participating in Serena ChangeMan software upgrades.Background in healthcare or insurance IT, Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS), Medicaid eligibility, or social services eligibility.Required EducationEmployers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
