Acquisition Coach
Role Summary
The Acquisition Coach helps dealership clients buy more used cars through VETTX. This is not a traditional CSM role focused on check-ins and touchpoints. It is a coaching role focused on training, accountability, process improvement, and measurable client results.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Coach dealership buyers and managers on how to use VETTX effectively
ā¢ Train buyers on pipeline management, buyer/seller communication, closing strategy, follow-up, and in-person valuations
ā¢ Identify breakdowns in buyer process and create action plans to improve results
ā¢ Hold buyers accountable to commitments and next steps
ā¢ Help underperforming accounts regain traction
ā¢ Elevate leadership and structure breakdowns to VETTX Strategic Advisors to help improve alignment and execution
ā¢ Track account performance based on usage, activity, and cars purchased
ā¢ Share feedback internally to improve client outcomes
Success in This Role
ā¢ More cars purchased per account
ā¢ More active buying accounts
ā¢ More reactivated accounts
ā¢ Better client execution and consistency
ā¢ Strong retention driven by real results
Capacity and Expectations
ā¢ Manage 40-60 accounts
ā¢ Maintain at least 2 training sessions monthly per account
Qualifications
ā¢ Automotive dealership, inventory, or used car buying experience preferred
ā¢ Strong coaching and communication skills
ā¢ Able to drive accountability with clients
ā¢ Organized and performance-focused
ā¢ Customer success or account management experience is a plus, but dealership operational knowledge matters more
Compensation
ā¢ OTE: $110K
