Accreditation Coordinator

The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) is seeking a full-time Accreditation Coordinator. This entry-level position provides support and interpretive guidance on accreditation standards to postsecondary institutions and volunteer evaluators, coordinating all aspects of accreditation school visits and ensuring compliance with established standards. Responsibilities Coordinate all aspects of assigned accreditation school visits, including but not limited to scheduling visit logistics, developing teams, preparing materials, providing administrative support for visit meetings, editing reports, maintaining records, and responding to inquiries Evaluate school documentation for compliance with established standards, as well as provide consultative guidance and feedback to volunteers and school representatives regarding ABHES policies and standards Prepare and present summary reports during Board of Commissioners meetings, and collaborate with the Board of Commissioners during accreditation meetings Prepare draft correspondence (Commission Action Letters) to schools summarizing the Commission’s accreditation decisions Serve as staff liaison to internal committees Assist with additional accreditation initiatives, determined through consultation with their supervisor, based on organizational needs and the coordinator’s skills and interests Skills Bachelor's degree from an accredited post-secondary institution Ability to travel significantly Valid driver's license One year of professional work experience preferred Accreditation experience or experience working in compliance is desirable Benefits Paid time off 100% company-paid medical/dental/vision benefits for the employee 6% company match retirement contribution Tuition reimbursement And more Company Overview Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) helps in evaluating the educational, institutional degrees and certificates.
