Full Stack Developer Advisor
Job Summary
Designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle. Provides the necessary documentation. Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages.
Essential Functions
? Design, develop and implement enterprise scale solutions to support the organization's business strategy and goals.
? Work closely with our business product owners on an Agile team to fully understand requirements, provide feedback, and request clarification as needed.
? Work with other developers on a collaborative Agile team to deliver code on an ongoing basis.
? Review requirements and data models and translate into responsible applications and architecture.
? Conduct design and code reviews with extended team to ensure that code meets FedEx Enterprise Foundational Services standards.
? Define strategies for application scalability, reliability, availability, and stability
? Track and resolve software defects.
? Support test execution including system level and integration tests.
? Demonstration of strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
? Skills in languages: Springboot, JAVA, Tibco Business Events (considered a plus),
? Experience in leading 12-Factor application and Cloud platform implementation (Azure considered a plus)
? Cloud platforms tools including but not limited to Spring cloud, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Splunk, AppDynamics
? Container and Orchestrator Tools including but not limited to Docker/Docker Hub/Kubernetes (Tanzu or Azure)
? Communication protocols including but not limited to SOAP WebServices, REST, JMS and experience with XML, XSL and JSON
? Source control tools: Git
? Maven and Gradle build frameworks
? Understanding of network design and architecture and familiarity with microservice architecture principle
? Experience with DataStax or other NoSQL Databases
? Understanding of software design patterns
? Applicant must work well under pressure
? Understand the SAFE Agile framework
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or equivalent.
Minimum Experience
Four (4) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
Domicile Information
This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Pay: $8,007.29/month - $14,413.11/month
