Position Overview The Accounts Receivable Clerk supports the execution of day-to-day Accounts Receivable activities within the Global Revenue Team. This role is responsible for accurate billing support, cash application, collections follow-up, and reconciliation activities to ensure timely revenue processing and cash flow. The AR Clerk plays a key role in maintaining data accuracy, supporting internal controls, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The position operates under the guidance of the AR Team Lead and AR Manager. Key Responsibilities Billing & Invoice Support Support timely and accurate invoice generation in accordance with company policies and customer agreements. Review order details for completeness and escalate discrepancies as needed. Assist with credit memo processing and billing corrections when required. Cash Application & Reconciliation Apply customer payments accurately and timely within ERP systems. Perform account reconciliations and investigate unapplied cash or discrepancies. Maintain accurate customer account records and documentation. Collections Support Assist with collections follow-ups via email in alignment with defined procedures. Track outstanding balances and update collection notes in the system. Escalate complex disputes or high-risk accounts to the Team Lead or Manager. Month-End & Reporting Support Support monthly close activities related to AR, including reconciliations and reporting. Ensure completeness and accuracy of AR data for financial reporting purposes. Assist with documentation requests related to audits and internal control reviews. Compliance & Controls Follow established internal controls and documentation standards to support compliance and audit requirements. Ensure proper recordkeeping and data integrity in accordance with company policies. Identify process inconsistencies or data issues and escalate appropriately. Collaboration Work closely with Sales, Order Management, and other Finance teams to resolve billing or payment issues. Provide professional communication to customers regarding billing and payment inquiries. Qualifications Education Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). Experience 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, or related finance operations. Experience working in ERP (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and CRM (Salesforce) systems preferred. Experience in a fast-paced or multinational environment is a plus. Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.
