About the position

The Accounts Payable Co-Op Student position at Hilcorp Energy Company is designed for individuals pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field. This part-time role involves assisting in various clerical, bookkeeping, accounting, and administrative tasks within the Accounts Payable Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for inputting all types of accounts payable invoices and responding to both internal and external communications regarding accounts payable issues in a timely manner. Responsibilities
• Inputs all AP invoice types.

Requirements
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university or college.

• No previous accounting experience is required.

• Ability to accurately solve problems and proficiency in data management.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.

• Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
