This individual will have a background in public accounting and will be a CPA or in the process of becoming a CPA. This role will work cross functionally across the organization.Responsibilities:Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and completion of financial reporting deliverables, including balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysisDevelop, implement and maintain accounting policies, internal controls and procedures to support close requirements to efficiently support business scale working cross-functionally with FP&A, revenue ops, revenue accounting and operational teamsOwn Partner fees, ACS 606 Commissions, Leases, Accruals, Fixed assets and Prepaid accounting processesCollaborate with internal stakeholders across the organizationSupervise a Senior AccountantCollaborate cross-functionally with and support our business partners , including FP&A by providing financial insights and relevant reportingSupport acquisition integrationsRequirements and Preferred Experience:BA degree in accounting requiredCPA or working towards becoming a CPA preferred4+ years of experience is requiredPublic accounting experience is requiredExperience within Tech industry is preferredGood understanding of financial statements and reporting requirements requiredExperience in accounting for Fixed Assets, Accruals, Prepaids, Leases, and ACS 606 Commissions is preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skills requiredExperience with NetSuite is a plus$108.8k - $140kOn target ranges above include base plus a portion of variable compensation that is earned based on company and individual performance.The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.Why OpenGov?A Mission That Matters.
