Job requirements Demonstrated experience in accounting roles, with practical exposure to financial processes and reporting. Strong organisational capabilities, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, along with hands-on experience using accounting systems such as Xero or similar platforms. Sound theoretical knowledge and practical application of accounting principles and practices, supported by strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is advantageous. Job responsibilities Support the execution of accounting and financial administrative functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records. Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly management reports in line with established financial standards and reporting frameworks. Process and post journal entries to accurately record financial transactions and maintain the integrity of the general ledger. Perform corporate credit card reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are supported by appropriate documentation and aligned with internal policies. Reconcile credit card deposits and collaborate with relevant departments, including fraud or risk teams, to investigate and resolve discrepancies. Review expenses, internal transfers, and funding activities to ensure compliance with organisational policies and financial controls. Maintain accurate financial data within the ERP system, ensuring information is up to date and readily accessible for reporting purposes. Administer and monitor user access to banking platforms, including the issuance and control of corporate credit cards, in line with internal controls. Maintain and update the fixed asset register, ensuring accurate tracking of asset movements and records. Provide support in monthly and annual financial close processes, including reconciliations, reporting, and other accounting deliverables. Assist with ad hoc accounting tasks, financial analysis, and reporting requirements as requested by the Financial Accountant or senior management.
