Accountant

They are seeking an Accountant responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of fixed assets, processing financial information, and preparing reports for analysis. Responsibilities Provide quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values Review, analyze and process all capital asset additions, disposals, transfers and depreciation Prepare journal entries in accordance with Company policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations Perform and document internal controls Compile and analyze financial information with a high level of accuracy Prepare monthly reporting to senior management team Prepare supporting schedules for external audit Assist with annual budget process Develop process improvements to gain efficiencies Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Assist with audit Capital reporting requests Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting One year of strong general accounting experience including fixed assets Strong oral and written communication skills. Interaction proficiency with peers, clients and management Positive attitude and continuous improvement mentality Keen problem solving and analytical skills Strong organizational skills.
