Reporting to the Account Director, the Account Executive will provide day-to-day support for a client’s partnership portfolio across professional sports, NCAA, and venues. You will play a key part in managing a portfolio of sports partnerships (e.g., teams, venues, conferences, leagues), executing partnership elements, analyzing performance, and evolving partnership strategy to drive brand and business impact.You will collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, and external partners to maximize the impact of sponsorship investments and deliver meaningful fan engagement. REQUIRED SKILLS

Strategy & Measurement. You’ll support the development of annual portfolio strategies, opportunity assessments, and forward-looking partnership recommendations. You will support deal architecture (asset strategy) and activation strategy to deliver brand and business impact. You’ll collaborate with research teams to ensure performance metrics are clear, accurate, and actionable. You’ll own partnership recaps and year-end evaluations, working with third-party measurement partners to analyze media exposure, fan data, and overall ROI. You’ll continuously monitor competitive activity and industry trends to inform smarter strategies and keep your client ahead of the curve.

Property & Account Management. You’ll manage a portfolio of sports properties, building strong relationships and ensuring all partnership elements are executed successfully. You’ll lead renewal processes, identify new partnership opportunities, and develop strategic recommendations aligned with client goals. You’ll oversee contract negotiations and act as the liaison between clients, properties, and legal teams to ensure smooth and efficient deal execution. You’ll also support the broader sponsorship portfolio across leagues and properties, ensuring maximum value is delivered.

Strategic Partnerships & Activations. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and clients to inspire, plan and execute activation strategies, including postseason and tentpole calendar moments. You’ll help align partnership assets with client programs, ensuring inventory is effectively utilized to drive consumer engagement. You’ll contribute to developing creative, insight-driven recommendations that enhance partnership value and bring campaigns to life.

Communication & Presentation. You’ll create and deliver visually engaging, insight-driven presentations that clearly communicate performance, strategy, and opportunities. You’ll maintain strong communication across internal teams, clients, and external partners, ensuring alignment and clarity at every stage of the partnership lifecycle. Strong client-facing communication skills, relationship management abilities, and confidence presenting to varied audiences are essential to success in this role.

Professional Skills & Experience. You bring at least 2 years of relevant experience in sports sponsorship strategy, partnership marketing, or account management, along with a strong understanding of the sports business landscape including leagues, conferences, teams, venues, fans, and sponsors. You are analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable interpreting data to drive meaningful insights and storytelling. You have a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, properties, agency teams, and third-party vendors while balancing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience across partnership functions including activation strategy, measurement frameworks, portfolio strategy, and contract negotiation is highly preferred.

Travel & Flexibility. You are willing to work outside of standard business hours when needed to support live events, partnership activations, and key sponsorship moments. You are also comfortable traveling as needed, including occasional weekends, to support partnership management and strengthen relationships with clients and properties.

The annual range for this role varies between $50,000 - $60,000 and may vary depending on the candidate’s experience. Benefits for this role include health/vision/dental insurance, 401k, employee stock purchase plan, vacation, personal days and paid holiday time.
