*95% REMOTE* Cloud Engineer (Python, AWS, Terraform)
Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the energy industry, is seeking a Cloud Engineer. This candidate will need to be located in Charlotte for quarterly team meet ups, but will work remote. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience and scripting (python), AWS, Terraform, and cloud platforms experience! Responsibilities: • Develop software platforms and frameworks, including platform automation and defining the process and cadence of upgrades & changes. • Maintain services, monitor system health, and continually look for improvements. • Scale systems sustainably using continuous deployment and automation. • Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolves them. • Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements from customers. Qualifications: • 1+ year in cloud engineer or server administrator role. • Scripting (Python preferred). • AWS + Terraform experience • 3) Cloud platforms experiences, including AWS networking, infra management, automation, GoLang programming, and Cyber Security best practices.
