About the Role
Bat Around™ is seeking an experienced 3D Artist to create stylized 3D assets for our mobile app. This is a short-term contract opportunity with a clear deliverable goal: completing all required 3D models and visual effects by the end of February. You’ll play a key role in shaping the look and feel of the game’s environment while ensuring assets are optimized for mobile performance.
Responsibilities
• Design and create stylized 3D models for in-game assets such as stadiums, baseballs, and other props.
• Define and execute the visual style for 3D elements within the app.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure assets are optimized for performance in a mobile environment.
• (Optional, based on skillset) Develop particle effects and additional visual flourishes to enhance gameplay.
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience as a 3D Artist, ideally in the mobile or casual gaming industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing stylized 3D modeling and texturing.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Blender, Maya, or 3DS Max.
• Knowledge of 3D asset optimization techniques for mobile platforms.
• Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with engineers.
• Bonus: Experience with 3.js, WebGL, or similar frameworks.
