Job Summary
Progressive Technology is hiring enthusiastic and detail-oriented YouTube Video Moderators to join our expanding digital content team. This fully remote, entry-level position is ideal for freshers and students who are passionate about online video content and want to help ensure a safe, enjoyable viewing experience for global audiences. You will be responsible for reviewing, monitoring, and flagging user-generated video content uploaded to YouTube, ensuring compliance with community guidelines and platform standards.
Key Responsibilities

Review and moderate video content on YouTube for guideline compliance
β’ *
Identify and flag inappropriate, misleading, or harmful material
β’ *
Monitor comments for spam, abuse, or toxic behavior
β’ *
Ensure timely and accurate moderation decisions
β’ *
Report trends, escalate borderline content, and provide daily summaries to your team lead
β’ *
Collaborate with internal teams to improve moderation standards and practices
β’ *
Stay updated on changing YouTube and internet content policies
β’ Required Skills and Qualifications
β’ *
Strong attention to detail and good judgment skills
β’ *
Basic understanding of YouTube and other social platforms
β’ *
Good written English communication skills
β’ *
Ability to follow detailed guidelines and moderation protocols
β’ *
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
β’ *
Basic computer literacy (Google Docs, Excel, Email, etc.)
β’ Experience
β’ *
No prior experience required β Freshers and final-year students are welcome
β’ *
Any internship or volunteer work related to content moderation, digital media, or community management is a plus
β’ Working Hours
β’ *
Flexible shift options: Choose between Morning, Afternoon, or Evening slots
β’ *
Minimum commitment: 4β6 hours per day (Monday to Saturday)
β’ *
Weekend-only options are available for students
β’ Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Familiarity with YouTubes Community Guidelines
β’ *
Ability to make fair and unbiased moderation decisions

Comfortable working with sensitive or graphic content (as per platform protocols)
