Responsibilities Own end-to-end post-production for high-performing YouTube content, from ingest and assembly through final delivery Shape compelling narratives through pacing, structure, music, graphics, and sound design to maximize retention and watch time Collaborate with producers, creators, and stakeholders to refine concepts and translate creative vision into finished edits Execute precise, efficient workflows across multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines Apply platform-specific editing strategies, trends, and formats optimized for YouTube performance Incorporate analytics and performance insights to inform editorial decisions and improve future content Maintain uncompromising quality standards aligned with the channel’s creative vision and brand Qualifications Extensive experience editing top-tier YouTube programming or digital content that resonates in today’s culture Exceptional storytelling instincts paired with a strong storytelling sensibility Deep fluency in YouTube formats, trends, performance drivers, and audience behavior Advanced proficiency in professional editing tools and post-production workflows Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with the ability to execute at a high level under tight timelines
