We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented YouTube Content Moderator to join our remote team. In this role, you will review and moderate content, including text, artwork, and videos, shared by young users on our educational platform. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth across various departments in our rapidly expanding organization. Our platform is designed for students from Kindergarten to high school, offering an engaging virtual space to inspire learning and creativity. Moderators will ensure a safe, welcoming, and educational environment by maintaining high-quality standards and fostering a positive online community. Responsibilities: Moderate and review user-generated content for appropriateness, including text, images, and videos. Work three-hour shifts, with the option to take two consecutive shifts daily. Stay updated on trends to connect with and understand our young audience. Ensure accuracy and compliance with content control guidelines. Provide excellent support by responding to user concerns with empathy and professionalism. Solve technical and non-technical issues independently, offering solutions or workarounds. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor s degree preferred. Tech-Savvy: Ability to quickly adapt to various computer applications and tools. Trend Awareness: Familiarity with current trends to engage effectively with a younger audience. Self-Motivated: Capable of managing responsibilities and tasks independently in a remote setup. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and content quality. Problem-Solving: Experience in identifying and resolving technical or non-technical challenges. Communication: Exceptional written and spoken English skills; quick and precise writing ability. Integrity: Commitment to ethical standards and doing what is right. Empathy and Patience: Ability to interact compassionately with young users and their parents. Adaptability: Willingness to accept constructive feedback and handle challenging situations. Technical Requirements: Access to a reliable computer or desktop with a high-speed internet connection capable of multitasking, including video use. Work Schedule Hours: Flexible three-hour shifts, with an option for two consecutive shifts daily (total of 8 hours/day). Pay: $27/hour.
