About the position
The YouTube Channel Manager will oversee the growth and optimization of a newly monetized entertainment channel. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, collaborating with creative teams, and utilizing data-driven insights to enhance audience engagement and revenue generation.
Responsibilities
• Manage the upload, optimization, and publishing of content across assigned YouTube channels.

• Collaborate with creative, analytics, and audience development teams to craft compelling titles, tags, descriptions, thumbnails, and playlists.

• Monitor real-time video releases, tweaking content as needed to maximize click-through rates.
,
• Partner closely on short-form content strategy, providing YouTube performance insights.

• Engage with fans through comment moderation, the community tab, and livestream support.
,
• Leverage tools like OpusPro, TubeBuddy, VidIQ, and Tubular Labs to provide actionable data insights.

• Lead brainstorming sessions, attend interdepartmental meetings, and keep the team updated on progress and trends in the social video landscape.

• Occasionally assist with video editing and graphic design.
,
• Lead revenue generating strategies, working with sponsors, etc. to build the monetary success of the channel.
Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in digital media for a content publisher or agency.

• Proven expertise in YouTube's Creator Studio, SEO, and Content ID tools.
,
• Strong copywriting skills for video titles, descriptions, and social media content.

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere and Photoshop.

• A self-starter with a creative mind and data-driven decision-making.

• Willingness to provide weekend or evening support as needed.
