Operating as an affiliate company of LearnWell, iLearn Wellness Group will use the 26 years of experience LearnWell and Comprehensive Counseling have accrued to create a caring atmosphere centered around strong clinical programming to support the whole patient. Job Description:
We are seeking a fun, energetic movement instructor to lead classes for adolescents in a mental health treatment setting. The movement instructor will be responsible for leading one hour classes, appropriate for adolescents, keeping in mind the various physical and emotional needs of patients. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to patient needs, feel comfortable redirecting patients with the assistance of clinical staff, and being attuned to group dynamics.
Hours: Wednesdays and Fridays (1:40pm-2:40pm)
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement dance and movement sessions for adolescents in a partial hospital program.
• Collaborate with clinical staff as needed to ensure the engagement and safety of patients.
• Utilize themes and language shared by ilearn wellness clinical staff.
• Demonstrate professionalism with proper preparation and flexibility to adhere to patient needs.
• Demonstrate compliance with ilearn wellness values and standards
Qualifications
• Experience teaching yoga and movement (including conducting private lessons, group lessons)
• High school diploma
• Experience with adolescents preferred, but not required
