The Opportunity:
We are looking for a data-driven and analytical Yield Analyst to join our growing team. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field who are eager to break into the world of digital media and ad monetization. As a Yield Analyst, youâll play a critical role in analyzing ad performance data, optimizing inventory yield, and supporting revenue growth strategies across our digital properties.
Some Challenges youâll tackle:
Monitor and analyze ad revenue trends, fill rates, CPMs, and other key monetization metrics.
Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for internal stakeholders.
Support the yield and ad operations teams in identifying revenue optimization opportunities across direct and programmatic channels.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Ad Operations, Sales, and Product to ensure ad inventory is efficiently utilized.
Conduct basic forecasting and scenario analysis using historical data and market trends.
Document insights and contribute to testing frameworks to improve yield strategies.
The Skillset:
Bachelorâs degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with large data sets.
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, basic formulas); familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus.
Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data clearly and effectively.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with how digital advertising works (e.g., ad servers, programmatic advertising, header bidding).
Experience working with advertising platforms such as Google Ad Manager, SSPs, or analytics tools.
Exposure to data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
