Join Our Dynamic Team in Daytona Beach, FL! We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Writing Specialist to provide exceptional writing support to students, faculty, and staff. As a key member of our Writing Center team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the academic success of our students. Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct writing support to students, faculty, and staff through tutoring, workshops, online support, and other writing support services
Maintain records of writing support and work on special projects to enhance the Writing Center's programs and services
Gather, verify, and maintain information to support periodic and special reports
Attend staff meetings, professional seminars, and conferences to stay current on best practices and improve academic and professional skills
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, Composition & Rhetoric, Education, or a closely related field
Two years of related work experience
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multiple-task environment and promote positive student, faculty, and staff relations
