Wound Care Biller (Remote)
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced medical biller to handle billing for wound care services. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Medicare and commercial insurance billing practices, particularly with Part B billing, and be comfortable managing claims from submission through payment.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Prepare and submit clean claims to insurance companies and other payers.
ā¢ Review patient charts and documentation for accurate coding and billing.
ā¢ Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid or denied claims.
ā¢ Communicate with providers and staff to resolve billing discrepancies.
ā¢ Stay current with billing regulations and payer guidelines.
ā¢ Assist with credentialing-related documentation as needed.
Qualifications:
ā¢ 3+ years of wound care medical billing experience.
ā¢ Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
ā¢ Familiarity with billing software and EMRs.
ā¢ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
ā¢ Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
ā¢ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Note: Only candidates with at least 3 years of wound care billing experience will be considered.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
