As a key member of the Program Operations team within the World of Hyatt organization, the Programs Operations Hotel Support team is responsible for building relationships with hotels, tracking and reporting key performance metrics, and providing operational assistance as needed. The World of Hyatt Hotel Support Specialist ensures World of Hyatt achieves programs objectives by assisting the Program Operations team with the day-to-day operations including hotel escalations, special projects, and sustainment of Americas new hotel openings. This role is also responsible for working cross-functionally with corporate operations and GCC teams to ensure a seamless member experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, passion for hospitality and proven organizational skills. Loyalty program knowledge and hotel operational experience is required. The Programs Operations team is looking for a candidate with long-term interest with a concentration on internal team growth. Position Responsibilities: • Monitor hotel progress toward Key Performance indicators. • Proactively provide hotels key resources and best practices supporting enrollment and consistent on-property World of Hyatt benefit delivery. • Liaise with World of Hyatt Specialists and hotel operations to continuously identify operational gaps and assist in the implementation of appropriate training/awareness initiatives. • Deliver World of Hyatt training and awareness efforts through webinar and video conferencing. • Sustainment of World of Hyatt Specialist program by actively monitoring turnover and leading onboarding process. • Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt values. Experience: • Bilingual in English and Spanish required. • World of Hyatt program knowledge required. • Hotel operations experience required. • GESA training and ServiceNow experience preferred. • CARE experience preferred. Computer Skills Needed: • Experience with Hyatt operating systems and tools (Tally, Tools Application, Reserve, Starr, etc) preferred. • Proficient with Microsoft Suite applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint preferred. • Must be computer savvy and have the ability to type and utilize keyboard functions to navigate multiple programs and screen quickly and accurately. Additional Comments and Requirements: • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Strong presentation skills in live or video conference setting. • Effective organizational and time management abilities. • Aptitude for problem solving and research. • Approachable with an ability to readily develop rapport and build relationships. • Adaptable to change. • Resourceful self-starter with bias toward taking well-informed action. Wage Information: The hourly rate for this position is $20.75 plus a $1.00 language differential. This position is eligible to earn overtime. The final pay rate offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level, and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
