Position Summary:
A scheduling associate in workforce management is responsible for distributing case work to end users by routing cases to the right MD Reviewer or Clinician at the right time and using the correct logic. This role ensures that the departments within TurningPoint do not exceed daily capacity, miss turnaround time targets, improve case efficiency, and reduce inefficiencies as identified. This involves considering factors like staff availability, capacity, state licensure restrictions, clinical experiences, and workload demands. These associates also monitor and adjust case assignments in response to changing demand patterns, distribute workload evenly among clinicians, ensure compliance with state and client regulations while also maintaining our company policies and client service level agreements. This role also works with leadership to utilize performance data in refining assignment strategies and efficiencies. This role is crucial in optimizing workforce utilization, productivity, and operational efficiency within our organization.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Assigning case work to production staff (clinical) efficiently and timely.
• Monitoring real-time adherence to schedules.
• Auditing assignments to ensure compliance.
• Daily and weekly report outs on time and volume measures.
• Analyzing performance data to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
• Interpret, analyze, and make recommendations that improve workforce productivity and quality.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for workforce management policies and workforce optimization steps.
• Help to ensure that service-level targets are being met and maintain the proper headcount while calculating production capacity.
• Create reports, dash boards and visualizations to understand business performance
• Other duties as assigned
Education, Experience and Certification:
• High School Diploma or GED Required; bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
• Experience as a Jr. analyst and/or in accounting or similar
• Ability to think critically and a willingness to innovate and improve current systems and processes.
• Collaborative attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
• Excellent data processing skills with ability to determine root causes and best course of action.
• Excellent communication skills are essential for interpreting needs of business and production complicated technical processes in simple terms.
• Advanced skills in Excel
Preferred Skills:
• Prior experience in Healthcare and Utilization Management
• Strong verbal communication, informing others, process Improvement, problem solving, people, teamwork, process management, and emphasizing excellence.
• Strong organization, commitment to customer service; ability to problem solve; ability to present and demonstrate.
