The Workers’ Compensation Customer Specialist will support the workers’ compensation offering by answering customer inquiries and managing claims, while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the administration and processing of workers' compensation claims, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with all applicable laws and regulationsServe as a point of contact for admins, answering questions regarding their workers' compensation claims and providing guidance throughout the processCoordinate with insurance companies and internal stakeholders to facilitate timely and effective claims managementMaintain and update claim records in the company's database, ensuring accuracy and completenessPrepare reports and summaries on claims data, trends, and outcomes for management reviewStay informed about changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations and ensure company procedures remain compliantRespond to PEO client inquiries in a timely manner for such things as custom COI’s, Billing questions, and policy questionsWork cross-functionally to drive improvements in our post-bind process that lead to efficiency gains and improved risk management inside of Rippling’s productSupport internal teams as a Rippling PEO workers’ compensation subject matter expertSkillsExcellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and leadership skills with a collaborative and cross-functional mindsetMastery of time management, balancing competing priorities, and executing to tight timelinesYou have an eye for process improvement; you like to dig into the details to surface learnings that enable us to better meet our commitments to our clients and partnersExcel proficiency and keen problem solving skillsPassion for fast-paced, tech-centric organizationsStrong knowledge of workers' compensation laws, regulations, and claim processesHigh school diploma or equivalent (required)An associate's or bachelor's degree in a related fieldBenefitsCompetitive salaryBenefitsEquityCompany OverviewRippling is a workforce management platform that unifies HR, IT, and finance operations into a single system.
