Workday Student Principal Consultant - FInancial Aid and Student Financials

We are currently seeking thought leaders in the Workday Student Financial Aid and/or Student Financials space to deliver superior results to our clients.

Responsibilities:
• Execute the day-to-day activities of a Workday Student Financial Aid or Student Financials principal consultant
• Serve as a functional expert in Student Financial Aid and/or Student Financials with deep knowledge of current functionality, design concepts, touchpoints with relevant functional areas and in consideration of future product direction
• Conduct sessions with customers to analyze business requirements, provide solutions to complex business problems, and transfer knowledge
• Develop solutions to align with customer requirements and provide appropriate artifacts and deliverables
• Actively share product knowledge with others to grow our practice
• Support Workday Delivery Assurance reviews to achieve design and build sign-off
• Identify strategies, risks, and options to determine ideal approaches that lead to meeting requirements for customers
• Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices
• Support business development activities such as identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities

Skills & Requirements:
• Current Workday certification in Student Financial Aid and/or Student Financials preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience gathering requirements, configuration design, prototyping, testing and deploying solutions to meet customer requirements in the Financial Aid and/or Student Financials functional area
• Recent experience deploying Workday Student Financial aid and/or Student Financials is strongly preferred
• Subject Matter Expertise in Financial Aid and/or Student Financials
• Passion for exceptional customer service
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively manage customer expectations and relationships
• Report writing experience highly desired
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Minimal travel required, but must be willing to travel on-site if needed

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until 10/19/2025 The annual salary for this position is between $106,171 - $159,257 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program , based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
