Workday Lead Developer

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Workday Lead Developer to join our technology team. This role will be responsible for leading the design, development, and support of Workday integrations across key functional areas including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and Recruiting. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with hands-on expertise in Workday integration tools and technologies, as well as experience in leading development teams and collaborating with business stakeholders.ShyftLabs is a growing data product company that was founded in early 2020 and works primarily with Fortune 500 companies. Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with a team of offshore/near shore developers. Provide guidance on development and production support related activitiesWork with stakeholders to assess integration requirements and translate business process requirements into a detailed technical specification to meet business goalsDevelop Workday integrations using Cloud Connectors, Document Transformation, Enterprise Interface Builder, RaaS reports and Workday Studio for various functional areas including HCM, Benefits, Payroll, RecruitingResponsible for architectural documentation and reviewing the development of solutions specified in technical designParticipate in proof-of-concept development, demos, and post-deployment support of cross-team integration effortsPerform impact analysis, enhancements, change requests, and product upgradesProvide production support for incident management and integration monitoringas needed Basic Qualifications 7+ years of experience in information technology, software development, engineering, or relevant fields5+ years of experience in integration development in Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting. Workday implementation experience is preferred2+ years of experience in a technical lead positionAbility to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex integration issuesAdvanced skills for the following Workday integration technologies: Studio, Core Connectors (including CCW and CCB), SOAP and REST APIs, XSLT 3.0, Document Transformation, Inbound/Outbound EIB, RaaSAdvanced experience with Workday Reporting and Calculated FieldsKnowledge of Business Process configuration and Integration SecurityKnowledge of general technologies such as Web Services, XML, JSON, SSL, PGP, SSOExperience with Orchestrate and Extend is a plusIntegration testing and documentation experience, including the formation of test scenarios and ability to work with business users and vendors in a testing capacityBachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, computer information systems, etc., or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
