Work From Home Social Worker | Michigan
A full-time position is available for a licensed Social Worker specializing in school-based services within K-12 settings. The role emphasizes delivering direct and group support to students, as well as collaborating closely with school personnel and families to foster a supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Manage a diverse caseload encompassing students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
ā¢ Provide both individual and group social work services tailored to student needs.
ā¢ Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to advocate for student support.
ā¢ Engage in the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process to enhance academic and behavioral outcomes.
ā¢ Support the implementation and maintenance of Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) initiatives.
ā¢ Collaborate effectively with parents, school administration, and other personnel to coordinate comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
ā¢ Michigan School Social Worker Certification is required or the ability to obtain it promptly.
ā¢ Valid Michigan social work license, including LLMSW, LMSW, or LCSW.
ā¢ Experience working within a school environment is preferred.
ā¢ Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
ā¢ Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple cases and administrative duties.
