Key Responsibilities
Ā Transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings with a meticulous focus on detail.
Ā Produce verbatim transcripts by accurately processing audio recordings while adhering to client-specific style guides.
Ā Collaborate effectively with our supportive in-office team for guidance and assistance whenever required.
Ā Manage workload efficiently to meet strict deadlines.
Required Skills
Ā Demonstrated experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
Ā Exceptional listening skills and a strong command of grammar and literacy.
Ā Proficiency in typing with both speed and accuracy.
Ā Familiarity with legal terminology and the ability to handle sensitive content with professionalism.
Ā Capability to work independently and remotely while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
Ā Proven experience in transcribing legal documents, particularly depositions and hearings.
Ā Court reporting students may be considered.
Ā Ability to pass a background check is mandatory.
