Key Responsibilities
Ā Accurately transcribe audio recordings of depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
Ā Produce verbatim transcripts while adhering to established style guides and maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
Ā Collaborate effectively with the in-office team as needed, leveraging technological tools to enhance productivity.
Required Skills
Ā Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription is essential.
Ā Exceptional listening skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ā Strong command of grammar, spelling, and overall literacy.
Ā Ability to meet deadlines and follow client-specific style guides.
Ā Proficiency in typing with both speed and accuracy.
Ā Familiarity with legal terminology is preferred.
Ā Candidates must be able to process potentially sensitive audio/text content and pass a background check.
Ā Court reporting students are encouraged to apply.
Ā This position is not open to residents of Massachusetts or California.
